When our family lived in Atlanta I remember seeing a piece of artwork with the slogan “Bloom where you [are] planted.” We lived by that model for years as we moved across the Southeast pursuing jobs and trying to find home. Through the privilege of experiencing those places we saw how much people LOVE their communities and how each community is unique. So in stealing another quote from Ellen Dunham-Jones in her quest to make the suburbs better… we decided we could always love on our community by helping to “Make a There, There.”
